The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center — the DECC — is a ten-venue complex on the Lake Superior waterfront in Duluth's Canal Park, and the room touring acts play in the Twin Ports. Its 2,221-seat Symphony Hall is the main stage, carrying touring comedy (Gary Owen, Charlie Berens, #IMOMSOHARD), Broadway tours, and the resident Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and Minnesota Ballet. The adjoining AMSOIL Arena seats 6,600 for hockey and up to 8,500 for concerts, and is home to UMD Bulldogs men's and women's hockey. The rest of the campus takes in the original DECC Arena, Pioneer Hall and the Duluth Curling Club, two ballrooms and the Harbor Side and City Side convention centers — plus the William A. Irvin, a retired Great Lakes freighter berthed alongside that becomes the Duluth Haunted Ship every October. Parking on site is $10. Symphony Hall offers assistive listening devices and an audio induction loop, and the complex is wheelchair accessible throughout, with ramps at every entry and power-assisted doors.
