Citizens Live at The Wylie is a 4,500-capacity, 98,500-square-foot music venue in the heart of Pittsburgh's historic Lower Hill District, built in partnership between the Pittsburgh Penguins, Citizens Financial and Live Nation and opened in 2026. The room is a deliberate homage to Wylie Avenue's 1950s heyday, when the Lower Hill was known as the "Crossroads of the World" and local acts shared bills with jazz's biggest names — a history the venue tells through a gallery wall of Charles "Teenie" Harris photographs curated with the Carnegie Museum of Art, a mirrored lobby-bar piano modeled on the one at the Crawford Grill, and the Vinyl Room, an intimate premium listening lounge stocked with records by Pittsburgh musicians past and present. A short walk from PPG Paints Arena and downtown, it books national touring music alongside a steady run of named standup headliners — Chelsea Handler, Seth Meyers, Ali Wong, Iliza Shlesinger, Aries Spears, Matt Mathews and Nurse John all play its first season.
