Brad Garrett's Comedy Club has been part of the MGM Grand since it opened its doors in 2012, moving in 2021 from the hotel's basement up to the main level in the MGM "District," just off the casino floor. Garrett built the room to capture the style of the roaring 1920s — intimate, elegant, a signature black velvet curtain and, as he puts it, not a bad seat in the house. Roughly 200 seats face a stage that runs seven nights a week at 8pm, with three comics on every bill whether or not Garrett himself is on it; recent headliners include Alonzo Bodden, Sarah Colonna, April Macie, Drew Thomas, Kevin Bozeman and Chris Franjola. Shows run 75 to 90 minutes, there is no drink minimum, and an adjoining lounge is open nightly with live jazz several nights a week.
