Berglund Center

Berglund Center is Roanoke's city-owned entertainment complex, the largest venue in Southwest Virginia and the anchor of the live calendar in Virginia's Blue Ridge. Everything sits under one roof at 710 Williamson Road NE, a short walk from downtown Roanoke and the Historic Roanoke City Market: a 10,500-seat Coliseum, the 2,150-seat Berglund Performing Arts Theatre, and Berglund Hall plus the Special Events Center, which together hold more than 60,000 square feet of exhibit space, alongside the 275-guest Bella Vista Room. Celebrating over 50 years of booking the region and voted Platinum Best Live Music Venue by The Roanoker Magazine, the complex programs touring standup in the theatre — Brad Williams, Whitney Cummings and Jo Koy are all on the current calendar — next to Broadway tours, concerts, ballet, circus and family shows, with Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs hockey filling the Coliseum through the winter. All events are open to the public with no minimum age restriction, concessions are available, and there is a clear-bag policy and no re-entry.
