The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW is Southwest Florida's flagship theatre — an 1,874-seat hall with the largest proscenium stage in the region, on the Florida SouthWestern State College campus in Fort Myers. It is named for the Fort Myers arts patron who campaigned door-to-door to bring world-class culture to Lee County and who ran the Community Concerts Association for more than forty years. The Hall anchors the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Series — past seasons have brought The Phantom of the Opera, Disney's The Lion King, Les Misérables, Wicked, Jersey Boys and The Book of Mormon — and books touring comedians, concerts, dance and classical programs year-round, from Derrick Stroup, Aries Spears, Gary Owen and Kathleen Madigan to Kenny G, Chicago and Cirque du Soleil. The room seats across Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony levels; the lobby has elevators on both sides, a covered drop-off under the east porte-cochère, and assistive listening devices and booster seats free at the usher station. Children under six are admitted only to shows designated as family performances.
