Rudy Rush & Friends: Birthday Comedy Show is more than another night of stand-up. Rudy has spent decades entertaining audiences on television, radio and stages across the country. He became the youngest host of Showtime at the Apollo and has appeared on Def Comedy Jam, Chappelle’s Show, Jamie Foxx’s Laff-A-Palooza, Comedy Central Presents, Premium Blend, Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-Up, Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City and Def Comedy Jam 25 . His acting credits also include The Parkers , and his work includes Comedy Central and HBO specials. On radio, Rudy was a longtime personality on the nationally syndicated Doug Banks Morning Show and later commanded Houston afternoon drive with The Rush Hour with Rudy Rush on 93.7 The Beat .
