The Milwaukee Comedy Challenge

A friendly battle of wits amongst comedians from Milwaukee and Wisconsin, with more than $2000 in Cash Prizes, at least 2.5 total hours of Paid Gigs awarded, and the opportunity to challenge themselves to be the best comic they can be. This isn’t a competition between fellow comics. It’s about challenging themselves to write great material, get bigger laughs, and become a better comic. Round 4 of The Milwaukee Comedy Challenge at The Laughing Tap on August 5 at 7 PM! Admission is ONLY $10! Only 5 comedians remain, and each will take the stage with brand-new material inspired by the writing prompt they received the previous week. After weeks of pushing themselves to write outside their comfort zones, these comics will be tested once again, digging deeper, sharpening their jokes, and proving they can consistently turn a challenge into laughs. You'll get a front-row seat to the creative process as these performers unveil fresh ideas, take risks, and discover what works in real time. Every set is original, every joke is new, and every comedian is looking to show how much they've grown throughout the challenge. BONUS! You won't just be part of the audience; you'll help shape the night! One comedian will be selected as the Audience Favorite and take home a special prize. At the end of the night, the judges will decide which 3 comedians demonstrated the strongest writing, creativity, and growth.
