Dwayne Kennedy is an Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer, actor and producer whose career spans more than three decades. His standout credits include The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central Presents and Showtime, along with acting appearances on Seinfeld, Martin and How High. Kennedy won an Emmy Award for CNN’s United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell and was named Best Comedian at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. As a writer and correspondent for the Chris Rock-produced Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX, Kennedy brought his distinctive comedic perspective to television, and his writing credits also include The Arsenio Hall Show. His full-length comedy album, Who The Hell Is Dwayne Kennedy?, was produced by W. Kamau Bell and Hari Kondabolu. His stand-up has earned praise from Chris Rock and Marc Maron, while The Village Voice called him a “world-class stand-up” and the Chicago Tribune described him as “legendary.” A Chicago comedy veteran, Kennedy is known for razor-sharp wit, biting satire and fearless social commentary.
