Stand Up Basics & Beyond

This is a 5 week class with a graduation show. 18 years of age and Up Wednesday Nights 6:00pm - 7:30pm First class August 12th. **Graduation Show Tuesday September 16th at 7pm** Free for family, friends, and the public. Description: This class is for beginners and seasoned comics looking fully flesh out their stand up bits and work on writing. Wether you just want to have some fun, or pursue a career in stand-up comedy this class is for you. Get more comfortable on stage, and in front of groups. Learn the ins and outs of joke writing, and what works for you the comedian. Learn what bookers are looking for, and how to get booked at any comedy club. Learn how to host a show, so that you are always in demand as a comedian. OR, just be the funniest person at every social gathering you're invited to. All of this culminates in a show for family, friends, and the general public on a REAL comedy club stage. Student perks include: -Free tickets to all Comedy Plex shows during the class session
