Yakov Smirnoff

Yakov Smirnoff came to America from the Soviet Union with nothing but a dream — and turned laughter into his passport to success. You’ve seen him on The Tonight Show, Night Court, and in movies with Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. He just finished filming a movie with Mark Wahlberg and is happily married with a brand new baby. Yakov Smirnoff continues to proclaim: “What a country!”
