Tonerio Brown: First Time Being 40

Tonerio Brown is officially 40 — and apparently, he has a lot to say about it. Fresh off the release of his debut comedy special, Young Dumb and Full of Comedy , Tonerio returns with First Time Being 40 , a brand-new live comedy experience and his first time headlining Helium Comedy Club. The show picks up where the special left off, bringing back some jokes and ideas that didn't make the final cut while introducing a new collection of material inspired by entering a new decade of life. Expect stand-up, storytelling, crowd interaction, and plenty of Tonerio's perspective on getting older, relationships, life, memories, and everything that comes with turning 40. Poetry will also remain part of the experience. Tonerio closed Young Dumb and Full of Comedy with a poem and plans to incorporate spoken word throughout the live show. For Tonerio, the night is also a full-circle moment. He won Helium's Funniest Person in St. Louis in 2023 , and now returns to the same stage as a headliner with a new show and a new chapter to share. The story started at Helium. Now the next chapter comes back home. In addition to the two-item minimum, there will be an 18% administrative fee in the showroom.
