Jay Yoder—better known as “Cheer Dad”—is a nationally touring comedian, educator, and content creator who turns the wonderfully expensive and rhinestone-covered world of competitive cheer into comedy. As a proud father of two daughters, including an All-Abilities cheerleader, Jay’s comedy celebrates the athletes, parents, and coaches who live on hairspray, hotel points, and the dream of hitting zero. Jay is a touring performer with the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour, Director of Operations at the American Comedy Institute, and lead instructor at Soul Joel’s Comedy School. His relatable Cheer Dad videos have earned millions of views and built a devoted following throughout the cheer community. His live show blends stand-up, crowd interaction, and hilarious stories about fatherhood, marriage, autism, and raising competitive cheerleaders.
