Times Square Comedy

Wednesday, September 16 @7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Autumn in New York. Wednesday at 7 PM. A room in Times Square that knows how to use both. The 7 PM show on September 16th arrives in the middle of the fall season’s first real month, and Comedy Village is running it with the same energy it’s brought to every Wednesday this year, a full rotating lineup, an intimate room, and a show that treats the midweek crowd like the best crowd of the week, because on a Wednesday in September in New York, that’s exactly what they are. The material on the September 16th bill reflects the city in fall, the new pace, the changed quality of the light in the evenings, the comedy of a New York that’s running at maximum capacity and doing it with the characteristic combination of intensity and humor that defines the city in September and October. You’ll recognize everything the comedian describes. You’ve been living it. And there’s a specific pleasure in hearing someone find the funny in the exact thing that was only frustrating when it was happening to you.
