Times Square Comedy

Sunday, September 13@7:00 pm – 8:30 pm September Sundays at Comedy Village have their own quality. The summer crowd is gone. The air is cooler. The room fills with New Yorkers and fall visitors who have come to the city for the version of it that September delivers, more purposeful, more alive in a quiet way, more worth being present in. The 7 PM show on September 13th is a full rotating lineup of NYC comedians in an intimate Times Square room for the kind of Sunday evening show that sends a week into Monday on the best possible note. The material is fresh. The crowd is exactly the right mix of locals who’ve made this their Sunday ritual and visitors who chose the right weekend to be in New York. Sunday at Comedy Village has always been about the specific pleasure of a deliberately chosen evening- nobody ends up at a 7 PM Sunday comedy show in Times Square by accident. The intentionality of this crowd is what makes it one of the warmest, most receptive rooms of the week. And the comedians who perform for it bring sets that match what they find there. Come end a Sunday the right way. Start a Monday on a laugh.
