Times Square Comedy

Saturday, September 19 @10:00 pm – 11:30 pm The fall season has a particular magic at 10 PM on a Saturday night and Comedy Village is where that magic lives in Times Square. By 10 PM on September 19th, the room at Comedy Village has the specific quality that only a mid-fall Saturday produces. The summer tourists are gone. The crowd is local-leaning, September-sharp, and fully committed to the night in the way that autumn Saturday crowds always are. The comedians who walk out onto the stage at 10 PM feel that commitment immediately, and what they build from it is the kind of show that defines a night rather than simply occupying it. The rotating lineup on September 19th brings NYC comedians at the height of their fall-season form, confident, precise, and performing for the crowd that makes 10 PM Saturday the best show of the week. The material is current. The crowd work is real. And the 90 minutes between now and midnight are going to be the kind that make every other September Saturday feel like it was missing something.
