Times Square Comedy

Monday, September 21 @7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Fall Monday. Comedy Village counter-programs it at 7 PM. September Mondays are a particular beast, the week starts at full force in a city that’s running at its most intense, and by 5 PM the evening has earned something better than the commute home and a quiet default. The 7 PM show on September 21st is something better. The rotating lineup brings NYC comedians to an intimate Times Square room for a Monday show that treats the night with the same seriousness the season demands. Fall-season material. Sets that reflect the specific comedy of a New York September Monday, the pace, the pressure, the moments of absurdity that a city running at full speed produces and that a great comedian finds and names before the laugh catches up.
