Coming off of successful runs at The Second City - Chicago, UCB, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Jake Griffith is excited to bring Ripstickin' & Burpin' to Caveat! When confronted with a possible cancer diagnosis, Jake Griffith found himself looking back for any semblance of meaning in his short short life: from intense oversharing while making out, to a 13 year old trying to convince everyone he has Polio, to religious girlfriends leaving him for Jesus, or simply the joy of ripstickin' & burpin'. This show explores how Jake's perspective changed and blossomed when it was almost taken away. Jake Griffith is an actor, comedian, and writer based in New York City, currently pursuing his MFA in Acting at Columbia University. He's performed at some of the country's most recognized comedy and storytelling institutions, including The Second City, Upright Citizen's Brigade NYC, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective. His sketch show 98% Boy 2% Milk made its Off-Broadway debut with Emerging Artists Theatre in 2025, and he has performed multiple times with the Moth Radio Hour.
