Maddi Mays is a rising LA based stand-up comic, originally from Houston, TX. She headlines all over the country, as well as having opened for Kam Patterson, Marlon Wayans, Ralph Barbosa, Mandal, Ken Flores, and more. She was a featured performer at the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Festival and more recently performed in the 2025 New York Comedy Festival as well as the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival. Online, Mays has generated millions of views across her stand-up clips, podcast appearances, and original sketches. She is also a recurring guest host on Jaime Garcia and Ralph Barbosa’s FatFish Podcast, where her quick wit and distinctive comedic voice have made her a fan favorite. Before establishing herself in comedy, Mays built an accomplished career in costume design, illustration, and styling for television, film, and music videos. Her credits include Hulu’s Dollface and NBC Peacock’s Bust Down, for which she also created the series logo. Her visual artwork has been licensed and featured throughout episodes of HBO’s PAUSE with Sam Jay. Belly Room 9:30PM Doors Show at 10PM With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians. What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space. Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience. About The Belly Room Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store. 21+ Only with 2 Drink Minimum Lineups are subject to change Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
