BRIAN SIMPSON is a stand-up comedian based in Austin, TX, whose background as a former foster child and Marine Corps veteran fuels a rare and refreshingly honest point of view. A paid regular at both the World-Famous Comedy Store and The Comedy Mothership, Brian was named a New Face 2021 at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and later recognized as one of Variety's Top Comics to Watch 2023. He made his television debut on Comedy Central's Lights Out with David Spade before landing spots on Netflix's The Standups (Season 3) and That's My Time with David Letterman. In 2024, Brian released his debut one-hour special, Brian Simpson: Live from the Mothership, the first special ever filmed at the legendary Austin venue. He now hosts the popular live show Bottom of the Barrel at the Comedy Mothership and his own podcast, BS with Brian Simpson, where he riffs on everything from pop culture to current events. Brian continues to headline clubs and theaters nationwide, bringing his sharp, grounded storytelling to audiences across the country.
