Luke Capasso has been seen on MTV, heard on BBC Radio, and has written and performed for Channel 5's Furious and Funny, along with several television pilots for Dave and ITV (some more successful than others).A sharp storyteller with a talent for political satire and the absurd, Luke blends deadpan delivery with razor-sharp observations and self-deprecating humor. His comedy draws from life as a young father, his years in the military, relationships, loss, and his small-town American upbringing—finding laughs in both life's victories and spectacular failures.Luke launched his stand-up career on the London comedy circuit, where he won The Comedy Store's prestigious Gong Show in his first year and was a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year, Amused Moose New Act of the Year, and Romford New Act of the Year competitions. After writing and performing four solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he returned to the United States, where he now performs regularly at top comedy clubs throughout the Midwest.Beyond stand-up, Luke writes and produces a wide range of comedy content, from historical mockumentaries and film reviews to delightfully surreal sketches. He's also developing several television projects—which he'll happily tell you about once they're actually on the air.When he's not on stage, Luke puts his Master's degree in Media Communication to work producing commercials and advertising campaigns for businesses of all sizes.
