Mohtasham Yaqub is an award winning New York–based stand-up comedian and former child star from Pakistan. Blending sharp storytelling with an international perspective, he’s been featured on SiriusXM, major comedy festivals, and has opened for acts like Akaash Singh, Vir Das, Usama Siddiquee, Jimmy O’ Yang and many more. Fluent in both English and Urdu, Mohtasham is able to tie in his experiences as being an immigrant and third-culture kid. His storytelling style allows him to perform bilingually. His razor-sharp wit coupled with an understanding of different cultures and communities has made him a fast-rising star in standup comedy. Bassam Shawl is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor.
