André De Freitas is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and actor from Portugal. André’s journey began at 15 when he auditioned - acting for the first time - for the acclaimed drama school Escola Professional de Teatro de Cascais in Portugal. He was awarded the “Best International New Act” award by the world-famous Comic’s Lounge at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. In 2023, he returned to the UK, where he made history by being the first ever Portuguese comedian to perform a comedy solo at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His debut show - ‘What If’ was critically acclaimed, having received several 5-star reviews. He also made the list of the funniest jokes of the 2023 Fringe by The Telegraph.
