World renowned vocal coaches, voice practitioners, and ‘Gurus of the Throat’, Carol Eisenberg and Julie Stern host “The Sound Within,” a life-altering masterclass that celebrates the miracle of the organic voice (and demystifies non-truths about the status quo in the entertainment industry). Eisenberg & Stern have helped launch the careers of countless musical artists, whom they invite on stage to perform original songs in this two-person musical character comedy, which will be headed to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August! Kayla Eisenberg is a Brooklyn based writer, performer, goofy (b/w)itch, and one-half of the musical comedy duo ‘Eisenberg & Stern’. Her writing for stage and screen has been recognized by the New York Theater (Lilith in Pisces), Austin Film (Delta Dawn), and Big Apple Film (Yiddish Club) Festivals, featured on Coverfly’s Red List (The Clares), and developed at the Flea, the Hudson Guild Theater, Playwrights Downtown, Dixon Place, and Relative Theatrics. As a performer and comedian, she’s fooled around on the stages of Ars Nova, La Mama, The Wild Project, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Paradise Factory, the Brick, UCB, the PIT, and Brooklyn Comedy Collective. @kayla_eisenberg Marguerite Yahr Stern is a New York based singer/songwriter and actor. She is the co-creator of the musical comedy “The Sound within with Eisenberg & Stern.” Marguerite has performed her original solo music at venues throughout NYC, such as Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Pine Box Rock Shop, and Pete’s Candy Store. This past year she has been working on a debut album that will be released soon! Acting training: The Barrow Group, Upright Citizens Brigade, Ecole Philippe Gaulier. IG: @_margueritestern
