'Let’s Be Pop Stars' is an original play written by IRL roommates Skarlett Redd & Ann Valdés. It is a comedic story about two roommates in search of a new apartment, who find pop stardom instead. The women yearn to be seen as artists but, when given the opportunity, are pressured to compromise their values, their image, and ultimately their friendship. Set in their hometown of Los Angeles, California, 'Let's Be Pop Stars' is written by two women who grew up with Hannah Montana, became adults watching Broad City, and are now going, "Why is everything gray?"
