Buddy Guy was born in Louisiana and came of age in Chicago, where alongside fellow future legends Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf he helped create the Chicago blues. The guitar-heavy, rough-and-tumble style would influence The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix and just about everyone else who’s picked up an electric guitar since.
